Profhilo is fully metabolized by the body, eliminating the need for an allergy test before treatment. As it doesn’t contain synthetic chemicals, the risk of allergic reactions is significantly reduced. While some individuals might experience temporary redness, slight bruising, tenderness, or itching at the injection sites, these are typically mild and should resolve within a few hours to a day.

During a Profhilo treatment, approximately 2ml of a hyaluronic acid-based solution is injected into the desired body part at approximately five locations. This is administered just beneath the skin’s surface, swiftly dispersing and spreading across the skin, delivering immediate hydration. For facial treatment using Profhilo, a total of 10 injection points are required, with 5 injection points per side of the face.

The full treatment comprises two sessions, spaced one month apart. An additional session may be recommended after approximately six months to extend the duration of the effect.
